Tax while getting income from another country

by "Lee Simpson" <leewsimpson[nospam]@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 18, 2003 at 07:19 PM

I have been working in the UK for 2+ years now and am looking to move back
to sunny South Africa. Since I work mostly from home anyway, and only
visit
the office every now and again, we are trying to arrange that I keep my
contract when I leave. (currently under an umbrella company). The plan
being, I get paid by a UK company directly
(in pounds), while working in South Africa.

Does anyone know how income tax would work in such a situation? Would I
need to set up a CC etc.. Where do I pay tax to? etc. Who can I even ask
these questions to.. I don't want to make it difficult for the UK
company to pay me!

Lee
